Classification
straight line
A sewing machine that uses two stitches, a needle and a shuttle, to form lock stitches. Two or more layers of seam material can be sewn together, or decorative stitches can be sewed on one layer of seam material. It is the most popular basic type of household sewing machine.
A continuous stitch sewn by a straight stitch machine with the same shape on the front and back as a dotted line. The distribution of stitches is dense, and the fastness of sewing is generally higher than that of manual sewing. It is suitable for sewing cotton, linen, silk, wool, chemical fiber inelastic interwoven fabrics or leather and other sewing materials, such as clothing and household items. Sewing thickness can range from two layers of silk to 5mm thick freeform wool. After installing the special accessories, it can be used for embroidery, hemming, hemming, tucking, weaving, buttonholes, etc.
The straight line sewing machine consists of three parts: the head, the frame and the platen. The machine head is the main part of the sewing machine (Figure 1). It consists of 4 mechanisms of piercing, hooking, picking up, feeding, and winding auxiliary mechanism. The movement of each mechanism is reasonably coordinated, and the stitches are formed by circulating work.
