1. Single-thread overlock is single-needle and one-thread stitch, which is mainly used to sew blanket edges;
2. Double-thread overlock is a single-needle double-thread stitch, which is mainly used to sew parts with high elasticity, such as the bottom edge of stretch shirts;
3. The three-thread overlock is a single-needle three-thread stitch, which is a common stitch for ordinary knitted garments, especially for sewing parts of garments with low grades;
4. The four-thread overlock is a double-needle four-thread stitch. Compared with the three-thread overlock, one needle thread is added, and the strength is improved. It is used for sewing pieces of higher-grade clothing or is subject to more stretching and stronger friction. Parts such as shoulders and sleeves, etc., especially the sewing of outerwear;
5. Five-thread overlock is a double-needle five-thread stitch. Its stitch fastness and production efficiency are further improved, and its elasticity is better than that of four-thread overlock. It is often used for sewing outerwear and mending underwear.
